简介
IL-20R beta Protein (IL20RB) is the beta subunit of IL-20 receptor, forms functional heterodimers with different subunit protein and involves in STAT3 activation pathway[1]. The IL-20RA/IL-20RB dimer is a receptor for IL-19, IL-20 and IL-24. The IL-22RA1/IL-20RB dimer is a receptor for IL-20 and IL-24[2]. IL-20R beta Protein is consists of 308 amino acids (M1-T308) with a transmembrane domain (226-249 a.a.). IL-20R beta Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is produced in HEK293 cells with a C-Terminal hFc-tag.

Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human IL-19, at 0.1 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind IL-20R beta. The ED50 for this effect is 28.75 ng/mL. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-22 receptor beta (IL-22Rβ) is a crucial component of the IL-22 signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in immune responses, tissue repair, and the maintenance of epithelial barriers. IL-22, primarily produced by T-helper 17 (Th17) cells and innate lymphoid cells, interacts with IL-22Rβ to exert its biological effects on various tissues, particularly in the skin, gastrointestinal tract, and respiratory system. Dysregulation of IL-22 signaling has been linked to several inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, including psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, and asthma. Consequently, understanding the structure, function, and role of IL-22Rβ at a molecular level is vital for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies. Recombinant IL-22Rβ proteins have been generated to facilitate research into receptor signaling mechanisms and to serve as potential intervention points in pathological conditions where IL-22 is implicated. These studies can help elucidate the receptor's interactions with its ligands, downstream signaling pathways, and the consequent cellular responses. Furthermore, the application of recombinant IL-22Rβ proteins in experimental models provides insights into their therapeutic potential in modulating immune responses and promoting tissue regeneration, highlighting their importance in both basic and translational research.
