简介
RPS7 is an important component of the small ribosomal subunit and is essential for cellular protein synthesis. Within the small subunit (SSU) processome, RPS7 contributes to rRNA maturation and is actively involved in SSU processome assembly in the nucleolus. RPS7 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived RPS7 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPS7, or Ribosomal Protein S7, is a vital component of the ribosome, playing a crucial role in protein synthesis within cells. It is part of the small ribosomal subunit and contributes to the structural integrity and function of the ribosome. Research into RPS7 has gained momentum due to its involvement in various biological processes and diseases, including cancer. Abnormal expression levels or mutations in RPS7 can disrupt ribosome biogenesis and protein translation, leading to cellular dysfunction. Additionally, RPS7 has been implicated in the regulation of cell proliferation and apoptosis, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structure and function of RPS7 through recombinant protein studies enables researchers to explore its role in ribosome assembly, interaction with other ribosomal proteins, and involvement in translational control. Furthermore, characterizing RPS7 can shed light on its function in different pathological contexts, presenting opportunities for targeted drug development. Overall, the study of RPS7 recombinant protein serves as a promising avenue for unraveling the complexities of ribosomal function and its implications in health and disease.
