  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

IL-34 (Interleukin-34) is a cytokine that plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in the differentiation and survival of macrophages. Discovered in 2008, its unique ability to bind to the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R) distinguishes it from other monocyte/macrophage growth factors. Research into IL-34 has gained momentum due to its implications in various pathological conditions, including chronic inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. The recombinant protein version of IL-34 is a valuable tool for studying its biological functions and mechanisms of action. It can be used to assess the effects of IL-34 on macrophage polarization, migration, and cytokine production, providing insights into its role in both health and disease. Moreover, due to its involvement in the tumor microenvironment, IL-34 is being investigated as a potential therapeutic target for cancer treatment. Understanding the structure, signaling pathways, and functional properties of recombinant IL-34 can lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating immune responses in various diseases.
