Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Lymphocyte antigen 6C1 (LY6C1) is a member of the LY6 family of proteins that play crucial roles in immunological responses and hematopoiesis. This glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein is predominantly expressed on the surface of monocytes and dendritic cells, and its expression levels are highly modulated during immune activation. LY6C1 has been implicated in various biological processes, including T cell activation, inflammation, and the regulation of immune cell homeostasis. Research has shown that LY6C1 can influence the polarization of macrophages and promote the development of inflammatory responses, making it an interesting target for therapeutic interventions in autoimmune diseases and cancer. The recombinant form of LY6C1 has been developed to facilitate studies on its functional properties and interactions with other immune components. Creating a recombinant LY6C1 protein enables researchers to investigate its role in immune signaling pathways, assess its potential as a biomarker for specific immune states, and explore its utility in developing novel immunotherapies. As such, the study of LY6C1 and its recombinant protein version is significant for understanding immune regulation and designing strategies to manipulate immune responses for therapeutic benefit.
