简介
DAND1 protein, identified as a potential tumor suppressor gene in neuroblastoma, plays a pivotal role in inhibiting cells from progressing into the crucial G1/S stage of the transformation process. As a homodimer, DAND1 underscores its involvement in regulatory mechanisms governing cellular transformation and contributing to the maintenance of normal cellular growth control.DAND1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived DAND1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DAND1 (DAN domain-containing protein 1) is a member of the DAN family of proteins, known for their roles in various biological processes, including embryonic development, tissue homeostasis, and cellular signaling. The study of DAND1, particularly in its recombinant protein form, has gained significance due to its potential regulatory functions in bone formation and remodeling. Research indicates that DAND1 may inhibit Wnt signaling, a crucial pathway in osteogenesis, suggesting its involvement in bone density regulation and associated disorders such as osteoporosis. Moreover, the understanding of DAND1 interactions with other signaling pathways, such as BMP (Bone Morphogenetic Protein) and TGF-β (Transforming Growth Factor-beta), opens new avenues for exploring its therapeutic potential in regenerative medicine and bone-related diseases. As recombinant technology enables the production of purified DAND1 protein, researchers can further investigate its structure-function relationship, elucidate its molecular mechanisms, and assess its biological effects in cellular models. This research not only enhances our understanding of skeletal biology but also paves the way for developing novel interventions targeting bone diseases, thereby holding promise for future clinical applications.
