Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα, also known as CD124) is a key component of the receptor complex for interleukins 4 and 13, which play crucial roles in regulating immune responses, particularly in the context of allergic diseases and asthma. The expression of IL-4Rα is primarily found on the surface of immune cells such as T cells, B cells, and mast cells, and its activation triggers downstream signaling pathways that promote Th2 cell differentiation, IgE production, and the recruitment of eosinophils. Given its central role in the pathogenesis of various inflammatory conditions, IL-4Rα has emerged as a promising therapeutic target for designing monoclonal antibodies and other biological agents to mitigate allergic responses and chronic inflammatory diseases. Recombinant IL-4Rα proteins can be utilized in research to elucidate its structural and functional properties, investigate its signaling mechanisms, and explore its interactions with various ligands and inhibitors. Understanding the precise role of IL-4Rα in immune modulation offers insights into potential interventions for diseases characterized by Th2-mediated inflammation, making it a focal point in basic and clinical immunology research. Additionally, the development of recombinant protein technologies for IL-4Rα may enhance the discovery of novel therapeutic modalities and contribute to the advancement of personalized medicine approaches in treating allergic and autoimmune disorders.
