Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Bone Morphogenetic Protein-6 (BMP-6) is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily, primarily known for its critical role in bone and cartilage development, as well as tissue homeostasis. Research has shown that BMP-6 is not only involved in osteogenesis but also plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including wound healing and inflammation. Its ability to stimulate the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into osteoblasts has drawn considerable attention for potential therapeutic applications in bone disorders. Furthermore, BMP-6 has been implicated in the regulation of several diseases, including cancer, where it may influence tumor growth and progression. The recombinant production of BMP-6 protein allows for detailed studies of its biological functions, therapeutic potential, and mechanisms of action. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the effective expression and purification of BMP-6, enabling researchers to explore its applications in regenerative medicine, particularly in enhancing bone repair and treating osteoarthritis. Understanding the full biological significance of BMP-6 through extensive in vitro and in vivo studies could lead to innovative treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes in musculoskeletal disorders. As research continues to elucidate the pathways influenced by BMP-6, its potential utility in clinical applications remains a vibrant area of investigation within the fields of cell biology and tissue engineering.
