AURKA-INCENP Heterodimer

简介
AURA is a mitotic serine/threonine kinase that complexly controls cell cycle progression and various mitotic events. AURA associates with centrosomes and spindle microtubules during mitosis and plays a critical role in spindle establishment, centrosome duplication, chromosome alignment, spindle assembly checkpoint activation, and cytokinesis. AURKA-INCENP Heterodimer Protein, Human (sf9, GST, His, Strep) is the recombinant human-derived AURKA-INCENP Heterodimer, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with GST labeled tag. ,

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AURKA (Aurora Kinase A) and INCENP (Inner Centromere Protein) are crucial components of the mitotic machinery, playing significant roles in cell division and maintaining genomic stability. The AURKA-INCENP heterodimer is essential for the proper functioning of the Aurora B kinase complex, which orchestrates various processes during mitosis, including chromosome alignment, segregation, and cytokinesis. Dysregulation of AURKA and INCENP is often implicated in tumorigenesis, making them targets for cancer therapy. Understanding the structural and functional dynamics of the AURKA-INCENP heterodimer is vital for elucidating the mechanisms underlying cell cycle regulation and the development of anticancer drugs. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology facilitate the expression and purification of this heterodimer, allowing for in-depth studies of its interactions, regulatory mechanisms, and pharmacological potential. Such research may pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at targeting the Aurora kinase pathway in various malignancies.
