  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The 14-3-3 zeta protein, a member of the 14-3-3 family, plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell cycle regulation, and apoptosis. Its ability to interact with a diverse array of partner proteins highlights its importance in cellular signaling networks. Research into 14-3-3 zeta has gained significant attention due to its involvement in key biological pathways and its implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Alterations in the expression or functionality of 14-3-3 zeta can disrupt cellular homeostasis, potentially leading to pathologies. Furthermore, studies have shown that 14-3-3 zeta can modulate the activity of oncogenic pathways, thus influencing tumor progression. A thorough understanding of the structural and functional aspects of this protein is essential, as it may serve as a potential biomarker for disease diagnosis or a target for therapeutic intervention. Current research focuses not only on dissecting the mechanisms underlying its interactions with client proteins but also on exploring its role in different tissue types and disease contexts, aiming to elucidate its potential as a target for drug development and a key player in therapeutic strategies.
