Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of PE-labeled ACE2 recombinant proteins has emerged from the increasing interest in understanding the interactions between the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and the SARS-CoV-2 virus, responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic. ACE2 serves as a critical receptor for the spike protein of the virus, facilitating its entry into human cells. By utilizing PE (phosphatidylethanolamine) labeling, researchers aim to enhance the stability and functionality of ACE2, thereby improving its application in therapeutic and diagnostic settings. The PE-labeled ACE2 recombinant proteins can aid in elucidating the molecular mechanisms of viral entry and pathogenesis, and they hold potential as tools for developing antiviral strategies, such as inhibitors or vaccines. Moreover, these proteins can be instrumental in studying the role of ACE2 in cardiovascular diseases and other conditions where its activity is altered. Overall, the research on PE-labeled ACE2 recombinant proteins not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of viral-host interactions but also opens up avenues for innovative therapeutic interventions.
