简介
PLGF protein is an important growth factor in angiogenesis and endothelial cell growth, stimulating cell proliferation and migration by binding to the FLT1/VEGFR-1 receptor.PLGF plays a crucial role in angiogenesis and also contributes to tumor growth, highlighting its involvement in pathological angiogenesis.PLGF Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived PLGF protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on Placentally-derived Growth Factor (PLGF) recombinant protein has garnered significant attention due to its vital role in angiogenesis and vascular biology. PLGF, a member of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family, is primarily expressed in placental tissues and plays a critical role in the development of the placenta and embryonic growth. Its ability to regulate blood vessel formation makes it a focal point in studies related to various pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and wound healing. Recent findings suggest that PLGF influences not only endothelial cell functions but also the recruitment and activation of immune cells, positioning it as a potential therapeutic target for enhancing tissue regeneration and modulating immune responses. Researchers are exploring recombinant PLGF for clinical applications, leveraging its properties to develop novel therapies aimed at improving outcomes in diseases characterized by inadequate angiogenesis or excessive vascular growth. As the understanding of PLGF's molecular mechanisms deepens, there is a growing interest in its potential to serve as a biomarker for pregnancy-related complications and its suitability for therapeutic interventions in various diseases, highlighting the importance of continued research in this field.
