Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD117, also known as c-KIT, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a crucial role in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival, particularly in hematopoietic cells. It is widely recognized for its significance in various conditions, including hematopoietic malignancies, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), and mast cell disorders. The importance of CD117 in cancer biology has led to intensive research aimed at developing targeted therapeutic strategies. Recombinant CD117 protein is used in studies to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying its activation and signaling pathways, and to identify potential therapeutic agents that can selectively target CD117-mediated processes. Moreover, understanding the structure-function relationship of CD117 is essential for the design of inhibitors that can block its activity in pathological situations. Therefore, the production and characterization of recombinant CD117 protein provide valuable insights into its biological functions, facilitate the discovery of novel therapeutic approaches, and enhance our understanding of diseases associated with CD117 dysregulation. As such, researchers are increasingly focused on utilizing recombinant CD117 to further elucidate its role in tumorigenesis and to develop more effective treatments for malignancies that involve this receptor.
