Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB27A is a member of the RAS superfamily of small GTPases, playing a critical role in the regulation of exocytosis, particularly in the trafficking and secretion of lysosome-related organelles. Its dysfunction is implicated in various disorders, including Griscelli syndrome and hematological malignancies. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of RAB27A is essential for elucidating its involvement in these conditions. Recent studies have focused on the characterization of recombinant RAB27A protein to examine its interactions with effector proteins and other cellular components. By producing and purifying recombinant RAB27A, researchers can utilize advanced biochemical and biophysical techniques to investigate its role in cellular processes such as vesicle transport and membrane fusion. This research has the potential to uncover therapeutic targets for diseases associated with RAB27A dysregulation, making it a vital area of investigation in cell biology and medicine. Furthermore, studying RAB27A's interaction with specific binding partners can provide insights into the signaling pathways that govern secretion, thus advancing our understanding of cellular communication and homeostasis. The development of recombinant RAB27A proteins also opens up possibilities for high-throughput screening of small molecules that can modulate its activity, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies. Overall, RAB27A serves as a crucial link between cellular signaling and secretion, and its recombinant form is a valuable tool for both basic research and potential clinical applications.
