The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PTPRB, also known as protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type B, is a member of the receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase family, which plays a crucial role in regulating cellular functions such as growth, differentiation, and metabolism through dephosphorylation of specific tyrosine residues in target proteins. Research into PTPRB has gained attention due to its involvement in various physiological processes and its potential implications in diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders. This receptor is predominantly expressed in endothelial cells, where it is thought to be essential for maintaining vascular homeostasis and mediating cell signaling pathways. The study of recombinant PTPRB has provided valuable insights into its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to explore its enzymatic mechanisms and interaction with other signaling molecules. Understanding the dynamics of PTPRB and its regulatory roles can pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity, ultimately contributing to improved treatment approaches for diseases linked to dysfunctional signaling pathways. With advances in recombinant protein technology, the production and characterization of PTPRB not only facilitate in-depth biochemical studies but also enhance the potential for drug discovery and development targeting this critical regulator of cellular processes.
