Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDK3 (Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Kinase 3) is an important regulatory enzyme involved in cellular metabolism, particularly in the modulation of pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) activity, which influences the conversion of pyruvate to acetyl-CoA, a key substrate for the Krebs cycle. Dysregulation of PDK3 is implicated in various metabolic disorders, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cancer, where altered energy homeostasis is observed. Research on recombinant PDK3 protein has gained attention due to its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structure and function of PDK3 can provide insights into its role in metabolic pathways and disease mechanisms. Additionally, the production of recombinant PDK3 allows for the investigation of its biochemical properties and interactions with other metabolic regulators. By studying the recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms governing PDK3 activity and explore its potential as a biomarker or drug target in metabolic diseases. This research is critical to developing novel therapeutic strategies that can improve metabolic health and address the rising global prevalence of associated disorders.
