Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Casein Kinase I gamma-2 (CK1γ2) is a member of the casein kinase I family of serine/threonine kinases, known for its role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell division, and circadian rhythm regulation. CK1γ2 is implicated in many biological pathways, making it a vital protein for cellular function and homeostasis. Its dysregulation has been associated with several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The study of CK1γ2 at the protein level is essential for understanding its specific functions and mechanisms within these pathways. Recombinant CK1γ2 protein is produced using techniques such as genetic engineering in microbial systems, enabling researchers to obtain sufficient quantities of the protein for functional assays and biochemical studies. This recombinant protein can be used to investigate CK1γ2's enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interactions with other cellular proteins. Additionally, characterizing this kinase may reveal potential therapeutic targets for diseases associated with its dysfunction. Understanding CK1γ2's role in cellular signaling not only contributes to our fundamental knowledge of kinase biology but also aids in the development of innovative strategies for disease intervention.
