简介
The Lck protein is a non-receptor tyrosine protein kinase that is essential for T cell development and function. Lck is constitutively associated with CD4 and CD8 receptors and is recruited to the TCR/CD3 complex following TCR interaction with MHC. Lck Protein, Human (Biotinylated, sf9, Avi) is the recombinant human-derived Lck, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with Avi labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Lck (lymphocyte-specific protein tyrosine kinase) is a crucial member of the Src family of kinases, playing a pivotal role in T cell receptor (TCR) signaling, which is essential for T cell development, activation, and function. Abnormalities in Lck activity have been implicated in various immunological disorders and cancers, making it an important target for therapeutic interventions. Research into the recombinant expression of Lck protein has gained significant attention, as producing this kinase in a laboratory setting allows for detailed studies of its biochemical properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interaction with other signaling molecules. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce Lck in sufficient quantities for structural and functional assays, such as crystallography, enzyme kinetics, and drug screening. Understanding the specific domains of Lck that influence its activity and how post-translational modifications affect its function is essential for developing small molecules or biologics that can modulate its activity. Additionally, recombinant Lck is being investigated for its potential role in vaccine design and immunotherapy, as manipulating its signaling pathways can enhance T cell responses against tumors or infections. Overall, the study of Lck recombinant protein is a critical avenue in both basic research and therapeutic development, contributing to our understanding of immune regulation and opening new avenues for targeted treatments in various diseases.
