Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research surrounding the HLA-A*02:01/B2M/KRAS G12D (KLVVVGADGV) monomeric recombinant protein centers on the interplay between immune response and cancer biology, particularly in the context of tumor immunology. HLA-A*02:01 is a prevalent human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I allele known for its critical role in presenting peptide antigens to CD8+ T cells, thus initiating immune recognition and response. The KRAS G12D mutation, a common oncogenic alteration in various cancers, such as pancreatic and colorectal cancers, generates a specific peptide that can be recognized by the immune system. The sequence KLVVVGADGV represents the mutated peptide derived from the KRAS gene, which has been shown to have potential as a target for T cell-mediated immunotherapy. The incorporation of beta-2-microglobulin (B2M) into the monomeric protein complex is essential for stabilizing the HLA-A*02:01 molecule and facilitating the effective presentation of the KRAS G12D peptide. By studying this recombinant protein, researchers aim to enhance our understanding of T cell responses against KRAS-mutant tumors and explore novel therapeutic strategies, such as personalized cancer vaccines or adoptive T cell therapies, that could improve patient outcomes. This research not only contributes to the field of cancer immunotherapy but also enhances the foundational knowledge of immune recognition mechanisms, potentially paving the way for innovative treatment approaches in the fight against malignancies characterized by KRAS mutations.
