Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKCG, or Protein Kinase C Gamma, is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, which plays a crucial role in various signaling pathways that regulate numerous cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. This serine/threonine kinase is predominantly expressed in the brain and is involved in critical functions including neuroprotection and synaptic transmission. Dysregulation of PRKCG has been implicated in several neurological disorders, including Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The study of PRKCG and its recombinant protein allows researchers to explore its biochemical properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other signaling molecules. This exploration is essential for understanding its role in pathophysiology and developing targeted strategies for intervention. Furthermore, the availability of recombinant PRKCG facilitates high-throughput screening of small molecules that can modulate its activity, providing invaluable insights into its function and contributing to the advancement of pharmacological treatments for related diseases. As a result, the investigation of PRKCG recombinant protein has become a significant focus in the fields of molecular biology and neuroscience, with implications for drug discovery and the development of novel therapeutic approaches.
