Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDIA5, or Protein Disulfide Isomerase A5, is a member of the protein disulfide isomerase family, which plays a crucial role in the formation and rearrangement of disulfide bonds in proteins, particularly within the endoplasmic reticulum. This enzyme is essential for proper protein folding, and its dysfunction has been associated with various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of PDIA5 in regulating cellular redox status, maintaining protein homeostasis, and influencing cell survival under stress conditions. Furthermore, PDIA5 has been implicated in the immune response, where it may modulate the function of immune cells. The exploration of PDIA5 as a therapeutic target has gained traction, given its potential role in enhancing the efficacy of cancer treatments and improving outcomes in diseases characterized by oxidative stress. Understanding the biochemical properties, structural characteristics, and functional roles of PDIA5 can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity for clinical benefit.
