稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Prostaglandin D2 synthase (PGD2 synthase), also known as PTGDS, is an important enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of prostaglandin D2 (PGD2), a bioactive lipid mediator that plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, sleep regulation, and allergic responses. PGD2 is synthesized from prostaglandin H2 (PGH2) and functions through specific receptors, influencing diverse cellular activities. Abnormal PGD2 levels have been implicated in several diseases, including asthma, Alzheimer’s disease, and various allergic conditions. The recombinant expression of PGD2 synthase offers a valuable tool for studying its biochemical properties and regulatory mechanisms. By producing the enzyme in a controlled laboratory environment, researchers can dissect its function, explore its interactions with other biomolecules, and develop potential therapeutic interventions targeting PGD2 pathways. Additionally, functional studies using recombinant PGD2 synthase can provide insights into its role in physiological processes and disease mechanisms. The advancements in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the generation of large quantities of purified PTGDS, allowing for extensive characterization and study, which is essential for understanding its contributions to health and disease.
