    TFPI2

  • 简介

TFPI2 (tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2) is a key regulator of matrix remodeling and has inhibitory control effects on trypsin, plasmin and factor VIIa/tissue factor. It has a weak effect on factor Xa and has no effect on thrombin. Its complex interactions extend to the formation of molecular complexes with ABCB1 and PPP2R3C, resulting in dephosphorylation of ABCB1.TFPI2 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, hFc) is the recombinant mouse-derived TFPI2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TFPI2 (Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor 2) is a key regulatory protein associated with the tissue factor (TF) pathway of coagulation, which plays a crucial role in hemostasis and thrombosis. Originally identified as an important inhibitor of factor Xa and factor VIIa, TFPI2 has garnered attention for its potential implications in various pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory disorders. Research has indicated that TFPI2 is involved in tumor progression and metastasis, suggesting a dual role in both promoting and inhibiting cancer cell invasion depending on the context. Moreover, its expression profiles differ across various tissues and cancer types, indicating its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis. Consequently, recombinant TFPI2 proteins have been developed to explore their therapeutic applications, including anticoagulant therapies and cancer treatments. These recombinant proteins facilitate detailed studies on the structure-function relationship of TFPI2 and allow for the investigation of its mechanisms in cellular signaling pathways. Understanding the precise roles and interactions of TFPI2 in physiological and pathological processes is crucial for developing novel therapeutic strategies to target coagulation disorders and cancer therapies effectively. As the body of research surrounding TFPI2 continues to expand, it highlights the need for in-depth studies and the potential for innovations in treatment modalities that harness the functional properties of TFPI2 in clinical applications.
