Gene name
CECR1
-
简介
CECR1, an adenosine deaminase, degrades extracellular adenosine, a pivotal signaling molecule, with activity dependent on elevated adenosine levels. It binds cell surfaces through proteoglycans, hinting at roles in cell proliferation and differentiation beyond its enzyme function. This dual functionality highlights its potential significance in cellular regulatory processes. CECR1 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived CECR1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CECR1 (Cat Eye Syndrome Chromosome Region Candidate 1) is a gene that encodes a protein involved in various cellular processes, including chromatin remodeling, transcription regulation, and DNA damage repair. It has been associated with Cat Eye Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized by a spectrum of developmental anomalies and dysmorphic features. Research into CECR1 has gained importance due to its potential role in cellular development and disease mechanisms. Studies have shown that CECR1 may play a significant part in the regulation of immune responses and may be implicated in certain cancers and autoimmune diseases. The recombinant CECR1 protein is a valuable tool for investigating its functional properties, interactions with other proteins, and its impact on cellular pathways. As researchers explore the molecular mechanisms underlying the functions of CECR1, understanding its role in health and disease could lead to advancements in therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with CECR1 dysregulation.
