稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Pepsinogen C (PGC) is a precursor of the digestive enzyme pepsin, which plays a crucial role in protein digestion in the stomach. As a proenzyme secreted by gastric chief cells, PGC is activated in an acidic environment, contributing to the complex regulation of gastric function. Abnormalities in PGC expression and activation have been associated with various gastrointestinal disorders, including peptic ulcers and gastric cancer. This makes PGC a relevant target for scientific research and potential therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of PGC in suitable host systems allows for the detailed study of its structure, function, and biological activity. Analyzing the enzymatic properties and potential inhibitors of PGC can lead to a better understanding of its role in pathophysiological conditions, as well as facilitate the development of diagnostic tools or treatments. Furthermore, recombinant PGC can serve as a valuable tool for studying the process of pepsinogen activation and its implications in health and disease, enhancing our knowledge of gastric physiology and the underlying mechanisms of related disorders. As such, research on recombinant PGC not only expands our understanding of digestive enzymes but also holds promise for advancing gastrointestinal health.
