Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G2A, or Phospholipase A2 group IIA, is a significant enzyme involved in hydrolyzing phospholipids to release arachidonic acid, a precursor for various bioactive lipids. The enzyme plays a crucial role in numerous physiological processes, including inflammation, cell signaling, and host defense mechanisms. Given its involvement in pathological conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders, PLA2G2A has garnered increasing research interest as a potential therapeutic target. The study of recombinant PLA2G2A proteins enables researchers to investigate the enzyme's structure-function relationship, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with inhibitors or substrates. Furthermore, understanding its biochemical properties can lead to insights into its roles in disease progression and provide a foundation for developing novel drugs. Overall, the recombinant production of PLA2G2A represents a vital area in biomedical research, offering opportunities for advancing therapeutic strategies against various diseases linked to dysregulated phospholipid metabolism.
