简介
Amelotin Protein is a key promoter of calcium phosphate mineralization, crucial in amelogenesis maturation. It plays a vital role in forming the compact and mineralized aprismatic enamel surface layer, emphasizing its crucial involvement in orchestrating molecular events for robust enamel structure during tooth maturation. Amelotin Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived Amelotin, expressed by HEK293, with C-mFc labeled tag. The total length of Amelotin Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is 193 a.a..

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Amelotin, a recently identified recombinant protein, is primarily associated with the regulation of dental enamel formation and mineralization. Discovered in the context of tooth development, Amelotin is secreted by ameloblasts, the cells responsible for enamel production. Research has indicated that Amelotin plays a critical role in the maturation phase of enamel, influencing the physical and chemical properties of this calcified tissue. Its structure, featuring distinct domains that interact with hydroxyapatite, highlights its potential significance in enamel integrity and resistance to erosion. Beyond its dental applications, studies suggest that Amelotin may have broader physiological implications, potentially impacting other tissues through its involvement in mineralization processes. Given the rising incidence of dental caries and enamel erosion, understanding Amelotin's mechanisms could pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies. Researchers are leveraging recombinant DNA technology to produce Amelotin in vitro, facilitating investigations into its functional properties and potential applications in regenerative dentistry and enamel repair. The exploration of Amelotin holds promise for enhancing enamel remineralization strategies and developing biomaterials that mimic natural tooth structures, signifying its significance in translational dental research.
