Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ABI5 (ABA Insensitive 5) is a key transcription factor in plants that plays a crucial role in abscisic acid (ABA) signaling and stress response regulation. Initially identified in Arabidopsis thaliana, ABI5 is essential for seed germination and development, particularly under abiotic stress conditions such as drought and salinity. The function of ABI5 in mediating responses to ABA has made it a focal point for understanding how plants adapt to environmental challenges. Recent research has explored the molecular mechanisms underlying ABI5 activity, including its role in bridging the signaling pathways of ABA and other hormones, as well as its interactions with various cofactors that modulate its transcriptional activity. Recombinant ABI5 proteins have been produced for in-depth studies of their biochemical properties, allowing for the investigation of their DNA-binding capacity and interactions with other proteins in vitro. Understanding ABI5's structure-function relationships and regulatory networks is vital for developing strategies to enhance plant stress resilience, which is increasingly important in the context of climate change and food security. The ongoing studies on ABI5 not only contribute to fundamental plant biology but also have broader implications for agricultural biotechnology and crop improvement.
