Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PP13, a member of the pregnancy-specific glycoprotein family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential role in reproductive biology and immunology. This protein is predominantly expressed in the placenta during gestation, suggesting it may play a pivotal role in maternal-fetal interaction and immune tolerance. Studies have shown that PP13 can modulate maternal immune responses, potentially influencing pregnancy outcomes and the development of pregnancy-related complications such as preeclampsia. Moreover, its unique expression pattern makes PP13 a candidate for investigating biomarkers for early pregnancy complications and for developing therapeutic interventions. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production of PP13, allowing researchers to explore its structural and functional properties in depth. Understanding the mechanisms underlying PP13's activity could provide valuable insights into its role in placentation and immune modulation, which may lead to significant advancements in maternal-fetal medicine and improved management of pregnancy-related disorders. As research progresses, the comprehensive characterization of the PP13 protein and its interactions within the maternal environment will be crucial for delineating its biological significance and potential clinical applications.
