Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ELMO2 (Engulfment and Cell Motility Protein 2) is a key protein involved in various cellular processes, including cell migration, engulfment of apoptotic cells, and modulation of the immune response. It acts as a link between cytoskeletal dynamics and signaling pathways, particularly by interacting with Rac GTPases. Given its pivotal role in these processes, ELMO2 has garnered attention in the context of several diseases, particularly cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where aberrant cell motility and impaired clearance of dead cells can lead to disease progression. Research on ELMO2 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its function and to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. By producing ELMO2 in a recombinant form, scientists can investigate its structure-function relationships, binding interactions with other proteins, and its impact on cellular behavior in controlled experimental settings. Furthermore, understanding the biochemical properties of ELMO2 can pave the way for the development of small molecules or biologics that can modulate its activity, ultimately contributing to innovative treatment strategies for conditions influenced by dysregulated cell motility and immune responses. The exploration of ELMO2 not only enhances our comprehension of fundamental biological processes but also holds promise for advancing personalized medicine approaches in treating various pathologies.
