Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NDK1 (nucleoside diphosphate kinase 1) is an essential enzyme implicated in various cellular processes, predominantly nucleotide metabolism, and energy transfer. It is involved in the conversion of nucleoside diphosphates (NDPs) into nucleoside triphosphates (NTPs), which are critical for DNA and RNA synthesis, as well as for cellular signaling pathways. Research into NDK1 has gained prominence due to its role in cancer biology, where it has been linked to cell proliferation and survival. Aberrant expression of NDK1 has been observed in several malignancies, indicating its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Additionally, studies have shown that NDK1 can interact with various signaling pathways, influencing processes such as apoptosis and cell differentiation. The recombinant expression of NDK1 enables researchers to produce large quantities of the protein, facilitating structural and functional studies. Understanding NDK1's mechanisms at the molecular level may provide insights into its role in disease progression and open avenues for novel therapeutic interventions. With advancements in protein engineering and structural biology techniques, the characterization of NDK1 through recombinant technology is pivotal for elucidating its functions and interactions in health and disease contexts.
