Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AKAP3, a member of the A-kinase anchoring proteins family, plays a crucial role in the spatial and temporal regulation of protein kinase A (PKA) signaling within cells. By anchoring PKA to specific subcellular sites, AKAP3 facilitates targeted phosphorylation of substrates, influencing various biological processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Research into AKAP3 has gained momentum due to its implications in health and disease, particularly in the context of cancer and cardiac function. Abnormal expressions or mutations of AKAP3 have been associated with pathological conditions, underscoring its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant AKAP3 proteins are instrumental for studying the intricate PKA signaling pathways, allowing scientists to dissect its functional domains, interactions with other signaling molecules, and its role in microdomain formation within cells. Such studies not only enhance our understanding of AKAP3's mechanistic functions but also pave the way for the development of novel pharmacological strategies aimed at modulating PKA-mediated signaling in disease contexts. The burgeoning interest in AKAP3 research is indicative of its significance in cellular signaling and the promise it holds for future biomedical applications.
