TARC/CCL17
-
简介
The TARC/CCL17 protein selectively attracts T lymphocytes, especially Th2 cells, emphasizing its critical role in inflammation and immunity.TARC/CCL17 binds to CCR4 on the surface of T cells, orchestrates immune responses, and contributes to GM-CSF/CSF2-driven pain and inflammation.TARC/CCL17 Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived TARC/CCL17 protein, expressed by E.coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TARC (Thymus and Activation-Regulated Chemokine) and CCL17 are chemokines belonging to the CC chemokine family, primarily involved in immune responses, notably in the recruitment of T cells and other immune cells to sites of inflammation. Research on TARC/CCL17 has gained prominence due to its significant role in various allergic and autoimmune diseases, such as asthma, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. Elevated levels of TARC/CCL17 have been correlated with the severity of these conditions, making it a potential biomarker for disease progression and treatment efficacy. Furthermore, its interaction with specific receptors, such as CCR4, highlights its importance in mediating immune cell migration. The development of recombinant TARC/CCL17 proteins facilitates the exploration of their biological functions, receptor interactions, and potential therapeutic applications. These proteins can be utilized in in vitro studies to understand their roles in immune modulation and inflammation. Additionally, they hold promise for the development of targeted therapies aimed at manipulating the immune response in allergic and autoimmune disorders. Overall, TARC/CCL17 recombinant protein research is essential for understanding immune mechanisms and exploring new avenues for treatment.
