Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AMIGO1 (Adhesion Molecule with Ig-like Domain 1) is a glycoprotein predominantly expressed in the nervous system, especially in the developing and mature brain. It plays a crucial role in neuronal adhesion and signaling processes, influencing neural development, cell migration, and synaptic plasticity. Research into the recombinant expression of AMIGO1 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Studies indicate that AMIGO1 may interact with various proteins involved in synaptic function, thereby modulating neuronal connections and potentially affecting cognitive processes. Additionally, understanding the structure and dynamics of AMIGO1 can provide insights into its functional mechanisms. The production of recombinant AMIGO1 allows for detailed biochemical characterization and functional assays, enabling researchers to elucidate its role in cellular interactions and its impact on neuronal health. Given the increasing incidence of neurological disorders worldwide, the exploration of AMIGO1 as a therapeutic target has become a priority, making its in-depth study significant for developing novel treatment strategies. Furthermore, the potential for AMIGO1 as a biomarker for certain neurological conditions presents an exciting avenue for further research and clinical application.
