Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of LCN15 (lipocalin 15) recombinant protein has emerged as a significant area of research due to its potential role in various physiological and pathological processes. LCN15 is part of the lipocalin family, which is known for binding and transporting small hydrophobic molecules, including hormones and vitamins, playing crucial roles in regulating biological activities and maintaining homeostasis. Investigations into LCN15 have revealed its involvement in reproductive biology, particularly in the context of male fertility, where it may influence sperm maturation and function. Moreover, recent studies suggest that LCN15 may play a role in modulating immune responses and could be implicated in inflammatory processes. The recombinant production of LCN15 allows for detailed structural and functional characterization, enabling researchers to dissect its biological activities and understand its mechanisms of action. Additionally, as researchers explore its diagnostic and therapeutic potential, LCN15 is being considered as a biomarker for certain diseases. Thus, the production and study of LCN15 recombinant protein not only advance our understanding of lipocalins but also hold promise for applications in clinical settings, making it a focal point of current biomedical research.
