  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) is a critical protein involved in the regulation of reproductive processes by mediating the actions of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). FSH plays a vital role in the development of ovarian follicles in females and spermatogenesis in males. Abnormalities in FSHR signaling can lead to various reproductive disorders, such as infertility, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, and hypogonadism. Given its central role in reproductive health, FSHR has become a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have focused on the generation of recombinant FSHR proteins to facilitate structural and functional studies, enabling a better understanding of its signaling mechanisms. These reconstituted proteins can be used to study receptor pharmacology, develop novel contraceptive methods, and create treatments for fertility-related issues. Recent advancements in protein engineering techniques have improved the yield and functionality of these recombinant proteins, allowing for high-precision studies that could lead to breakthroughs in reproductive health therapies. The ongoing exploration of FSHR and its interactions continues to provide valuable insights into reproductive biology and potential clinical applications.
