Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SEMA7A (Semaphorin 7A) is a member of the semaphorin family, which plays crucial roles in various biological processes, including neuronal development, immune responses, and angiogenesis. Initially identified for its function in guiding neuronal axons during development, SEMA7A has since been implicated in several diseases, such as cancer and autoimmune disorders. Its unique role as a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein allows it to integrate signaling pathways between the extracellular matrix and intracellular responses, influencing cell migration and adhesion. Research has demonstrated that SEMA7A interacts with various receptors, including integrins, which mediates its diverse effects on cell behavior. Furthermore, studies have suggested that altered expression of SEMA7A is associated with tumor progression and metastasis in different cancer types, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant protein of SEMA7A is being actively investigated to better understand its structural properties and functional mechanisms, as well as to assess its potential in developing new treatment strategies for diseases where its dysregulation is evident. Understanding the biochemical pathways and molecular interactions involving SEMA7A can lead to insights into its functional roles in health and disease, providing a valuable framework for future research and clinical applications.
