Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANGPTL5, a member of the angiopoietin-like protein family, has garnered significant interest in biomedical research due to its role in regulating lipid metabolism and its potential implications in metabolic disorders. Initially identified for its involvement in angiogenesis and vascular regulation, recent studies have highlighted ANGPTL5's critical function in modulating triglyceride levels by inhibiting lipoprotein lipase activity, which is vital for lipid breakdown. This modulation suggests that ANGPTL5 could be a key player in conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. The therapeutic potential of targeting ANGPTL5 for managing hyperlipidemia and related metabolic syndromes has prompted researchers to investigate the properties of recombinant ANGPTL5 proteins. By studying the structure, function, and signaling pathways of ANGPTL5, scientists aim to elucidate its mechanisms and explore its viability as a drug target. Understanding the role of ANGPTL5 in energy homeostasis and lipid metabolism holds promise for the development of novel therapeutic strategies, ultimately contributing to improved management of metabolic diseases.
