Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAT4 (Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 4) is a member of the STAT protein family, which plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the immune response and inflammation. It is primarily activated by cytokines such as IL-12 and IL-23, leading to the transcription of genes involved in T cell differentiation and function. Dysfunctional STAT4 signaling has been linked to various autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Research into STAT4 recombinant proteins focuses on understanding its structure-function relationship, activation mechanisms, and downstream signaling pathways. The generation of STAT4 recombinant proteins allows for detailed biochemical studies, including affinity assays and functional analyses, which can help elucidate how STAT4 contributes to immune responses and its potential role in disease pathology. Additionally, these studies facilitate the identification of small-molecule inhibitors that could modulate STAT4 activity, providing prospects for novel treatments in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Therefore, optimizing the expression and purification of STAT4 recombinant proteins is essential for advancing our knowledge of its biological functions and therapeutic applications.
