Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDC26, a crucial component of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), plays a vital role in regulating the cell cycle by facilitating the ubiquitination of key cell cycle proteins, thereby marking them for degradation. This process is essential for the timely progression through mitosis and the maintenance of genomic stability. Mutations and dysregulations in CDC26 have been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer, where aberrant cell cycle control can lead to unchecked cellular proliferation. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of CDC26 in the context of targeted cancer therapies, suggesting that it may serve as a potential biomarker for treatment response or as a therapeutic target. Understanding the precise mechanisms by which CDC26 influences the cell cycle and its interactions within the APC/C complex is crucial for developing innovative strategies to manipulate its activity for therapeutic purposes. Research into CDC26 not only sheds light on fundamental cellular processes but also opens avenues for novel cancer treatments, emphasizing the importance of further investigations into its biochemical pathways and regulatory mechanisms.
