Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CST6, or Cystatin E/M, is a member of the cystatin superfamily of cysteine protease inhibitors that plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including the regulation of extracellular proteolytic activity and the modulation of inflammation. Dysregulation of CST6 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as tumor progression, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of CST6 in maintaining tissue homeostasis and its potential as a biomarker for early diagnosis and prognosis of certain cancers. Additionally, CST6 is involved in the immune response, influencing both innate and adaptive immunity. The recombinant protein form of CST6 allows for the detailed study of its structure-function relationship, cellular interactions, and mechanistic pathways. Understanding the molecular basis of CST6 can facilitate the development of targeted therapies and novel diagnostic tools. As research on CST6 continues to expand, it underscores the significance of this protein in molecular biology and its potential therapeutic applications in human diseases.
