Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UMODL1, or Uromodulin-like 1, is a protein encoded by the UMODL1 gene, which has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential implications in human health and disease. Initially identified as a member of the uromodulin family, this protein is primarily expressed in the kidney, suggesting a role in renal function and maintenance. Emerging research has linked UMODL1 to various physiological processes, including immune response and cellular signaling. Furthermore, genetic studies have associated mutations in the UMODL1 gene with conditions such as kidney diseases and autoimmune disorders, highlighting its significance in pathophysiology. The exploration of UMODL1 as a recombinant protein has expanded our understanding of its biological functions, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications. By studying UMODL1 and its interactions at the molecular level, researchers aim to uncover novel mechanisms underlying kidney health and related diseases, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted interventions and innovative treatments. The combination of basic and translational research focusing on UMODL1 emphasizes the importance of this protein in both normal physiology and disease states, making it a promising area of investigation for future biomedical research.
