Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDAH1 (Dimethylarginine Dimethylaminohydrolase 1) is an important enzyme that plays a critical role in the regulation of nitric oxide (NO) production in the body by metabolizing asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA), an endogenous inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase. Elevated levels of ADMA have been implicated in various cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension and atherosclerosis, making DDAH1 a potential therapeutic target for these conditions. Research into recombinant DDAH1 proteins has gained momentum as it offers insights into the enzyme's structural and functional properties, paving the way for developing novel interventions to modulate its activity. Expression and purification of recombinant DDAH1 enable detailed biochemical assays, facilitating the exploration of its activity under different physiological and pathological conditions. Furthermore, understanding the regulatory mechanisms and modulation of DDAH1 can lead to advances in the treatment of diseases related to NO dysfunction, enhancing cardiovascular health and potentially addressing other related disorders. As a result, the study of DDAH1 recombinant proteins not only contributes to fundamental biology but also holds promise for innovative therapeutic applications in clinical settings.
