Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interferon-alpha 1b (IFN-alpha 1b), also known as IFNA13, is a recombinant protein that plays a crucial role in the immune response against viral infections and has been extensively studied for its therapeutic applications, particularly in the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis, certain types of cancers, and multiple sclerosis. As a member of the interferon family, IFN-alpha 1b exhibits antiviral, anti-proliferative, and immunomodulatory properties, which are mediated through its interaction with specific cell surface receptors, leading to the activation of various intracellular signaling pathways, including the JAK-STAT pathway. Research on IFN-alpha 1b has focused on optimizing its production and enhancing its efficacy while minimizing side effects associated with long-term treatment. Clinical studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in improving patients' clinical outcomes and viral clearance rates, although responses can vary due to factors like genetic variability and the presence of resistant viral strains. The ongoing investigation into the molecular mechanisms underlying its action, alongside the development of novel formulations and combination therapies, aims to enhance its therapeutic potential and broaden its applications in treating infectious diseases and malignancies.
