Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PTK7 (Protein Tyrosine Kinase 7) is a receptor-like protein that plays a significant role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and tissue development. It is part of the receptor tyrosine kinase family, though it lacks intrinsic kinase activity, suggesting a unique regulatory function in signaling pathways. Research has indicated that PTK7 is crucial in modulating Wnt signaling, which is essential for embryonic development and tissue homeostasis. Abnormal expression of PTK7 has been associated with several types of cancer, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The study of PTK7 recombinant proteins involves the cloning, expression, and purification of this protein to understand its structure and function better. Scientists aim to elucidate how PTK7 interacts with other signaling molecules and contribute to disease pathways. Investigations into PTK7 have the potential to reveal novel insights into its role in cancer progression and may lead to innovative approaches in cancer treatment, including targeted therapies that harness the protein's signaling properties. As such, PTK7 represents a promising area of research within cell biology and oncology.
