Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GAGE2A, part of the GAGE gene family discovered in human male germ cells, is a tumor-associated antigen that has garnered attention for its potential role in cancer immunotherapy. The GAGE proteins, including GAGE2A, are characterized by their expression in various cancers, including melanoma and lung cancer, while being largely absent in normal tissues, which makes them promising targets for cancer vaccines and targeted therapies. Research has shown that GAGE2A can elicit specific immune responses, making it an intriguing candidate for immunological studies. Its expression is often correlated with tumor progression and poor prognosis, further underscoring its significance in oncology. Investigations into the biological functions of GAGE2A may provide insights into tumor biology as well as the mechanisms of immune evasion. Consequently, understanding GAGE2A's role could lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies and improved patient outcomes in cancer treatment. As a result, GAGE2A serves as a crucial focal point for ongoing research aimed at harnessing the immune system against tumors.
