Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NSP12, a key component of the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) complex of coronaviruses, has garnered significant attention in the realm of virology and drug development. NSP12 plays a crucial role in viral replication and transcription, making it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions against RNA viruses, particularly SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19. In the context of the ongoing pandemic, understanding the structure, function, and interactions of NSP12 has become imperative for designing effective antiviral drugs. Researchers have focused on the recombinant production of NSP12 to study its enzymatic activity, identify potential inhibitors, and elucidate its structural dynamics. The ability to produce NSP12 in a recombinant form facilitates high-throughput screening of small molecules, which can lead to the discovery of novel therapeutic candidates. Moreover, crystallographic and cryo-electron microscopy studies of NSP12 have revealed insights into its mechanistic pathways and potential allosteric sites. These findings underscore the importance of NSP12 in the development of vaccines and therapeutics, positioning it as a critical player in the fight against emerging viral pathogens. The ongoing research surrounding NSP12 not only enhances our understanding of coronavirus biology but also paves the way for broader antiviral strategies in the future. As global health challenges continue to arise from viral outbreaks, studies on NSP12 can provide foundational knowledge that informs rapid responses and mitigates the impact of future pandemics.
