简介
Ephrin-A3/EFNA3 proteins are cell surface GPI-binding ligands of Eph receptors and play a key role in regulating key cellular processes such as migration, repulsion, and adhesion during neuronal, vascular, and epithelial development. As a promiscuous binder, Ephrin-A3 binds to Eph receptors on neighboring cells, initiating contact-dependent bidirectional signaling to neighboring cells. Ephrin-A3/EFNA3 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived Ephrin-A3/EFNA3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Ephrin-A3 (EFNA3) is a member of the ephrin family, which plays a critical role in cell signaling and interactions during developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system and vasculature. Research has demonstrated that Ephrin-A3 is involved in various biological processes, including axon guidance, neuronal growth, and cell migration. Its interaction with Eph receptors is crucial for mediating bidirectional signaling pathways that influence cell positioning and tissue organization. Additionally, aberrant regulation of Ephrin-A3 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer progression and metastasis, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant Ephrin-A3 proteins are increasingly being utilized in research to elucidate these signaling mechanisms and their implications in diseases. By studying Ephrin-A3 in a controlled environment, researchers aim to gain insights into its function, interaction networks, and potential roles in disease states, paving the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies. The production and characterization of recombinant Ephrin-A3 not only provide essential tools for basic research but also open avenues for targeted interventions in diseases where Ephrin signaling is disrupted.
