Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Transient receptor potential vanilloid 2 (TRPV2) is a member of the TRP ion channel superfamily, known for its role in various physiological processes, including nociception, thermoregulation, and mechanosensation. Its unique characteristics, such as being activated by high temperatures and various ligands, make TRPV2 a subject of interest in both physiological and pathological contexts. Recent studies have indicated that TRPV2 is involved in the regulation of immune responses and may play a protective role in cellular stress conditions, such as inflammation and neurodegeneration. Moreover, the channel's dysfunction has been linked to several diseases, including chronic pain conditions and neurodegenerative disorders, prompting researchers to explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant TRPV2 protein studies have become crucial for understanding its structure-function relationships, ion selectivity, and interaction with other cellular components. By generating and characterizing TRPV2 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its activation and regulation, paving the way for potential drug development and novel therapeutic strategies. The exploration of TRPV2’s biological functions and its pharmacological modulation could yield significant advancements in pain management and treatment strategies for diseases associated with TRPV2 dysregulation.
