  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

EPHB1 (Ephrin type-B receptor 1) is a member of the Eph receptor family, which plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including cell signaling, neuron development, and tissue boundary formation. It is known to interact with ephrin ligands, leading to bidirectional signaling that influences cell adhesion, migration, and repulsion. Abnormal EPHB1 signaling has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of EPHB1 in various expression systems, allowing researchers to study its structure-function relationship and interactions with ephrin ligands in detail. The recombinant EPHB1 protein can be used to elucidate its role in cellular processes, facilitate high-throughput screening of potential drugs, and develop targeted therapies aimed at modulating EPHB1 signaling in pathological conditions. Understanding the mechanisms of EPHB1 action not only sheds light on fundamental biological processes but also holds promise for innovative treatment strategies.
