  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LAMC3, or Laminin subunit gamma-3, is a critical component of the extracellular matrix, playing a pivotal role in cellular adhesion, differentiation, and tissue development. Research into LAMC3 has gained significant attention due to its implications in various physiological and pathological processes, including cancer metastasis and neurological disorders. The protein is a part of the laminin family, which consists of different chains that assemble to form a significant component of basement membranes. These membranes provide structural support to tissues and influence cellular behaviors. Studies have indicated that alterations in LAMC3 expression or function can lead to developmental anomalies and contribute to the progression of several diseases. For instance, in cancer biology, the deregulation of LAMC3 has been linked to enhanced migratory and invasive properties of tumor cells, emphasizing its potential role as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Additionally, LAMC3's involvement in neurodevelopment suggests that it may be crucial for neuronal survival and repair mechanisms. However, the functional mechanisms and pathways involving LAMC3 remain inadequately understood, necessitating further research. Recombinant LAMC3 protein studies are essential for elucidating its biological functions, interactions with other matrix components, and potential roles in disease mechanisms. By employing advanced molecular biology techniques, researchers aim to analyze LAMC3's structure-function relationship, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies that could harness its properties for clinical applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. As the understanding of LAMC3 expands, it holds promise for future studies focused on targeted therapies aimed at mitigating the effects of diseases linked to extracellular matrix dysfunction.
